In an effort to better understand the various Victorian decorating techniques, we have asked our customers to send in examples of how they have decorated their homes with our products. This photo in the Ocala, Florida home of David and Jenny Arturi shows Mr. Arturi's mother Adelaide wearing a traditional Calabrian lace blouse. Notice how the Old Gold Emogene rosette, tassel, and cord perfectly match the subject's extraordinary gold chain necklace. The photo of the little girl is Jenny's granddaughter Alexis at age 3. She is now 13 years old.
This hanging in David and Jenny Arturi's home in Ocala, Florida shows the immortal Archimedes, deep in thought, just seconds before he would be slain by an angry soldier during the Roman invasion of Sicily in 212 B.C. The burgundy Marietta twisted cord with honey accents and an antiqued brass cutwork rosette nicely matches the rich, red mahogany and antique gold of the custom frame.
